Want Your Stollen Stuff Back?

Posted in: Huber Ridge Area
ouch

If I new your underoo's were going to get bunched up I wouldn't have told you to man up! Your whining sounds like a little school girl. Grow up and enjoy the real world sport. Maybe you could see the bigger picture here, a legitimate gripe is taken seriously and the coustomer is always right, doesn't apply to law enforcement, maybe in a Barney Fife run Sheriffs Department, The customer is always right, but not here in the real world. In the real world there are two sides to every story and with out confirmation on the other side are you the only one to be believed, innocent until PROVEN GUILTY still works in my country, but then again I'm not from the State of Confusion like Anonymous must be from?

Real Concerns

Dear Instigator,

Would you mind keeping your comments relevant to the forum? If you want to make comments that have little to due with the topic at hand maybe you could start a new forum.

It seems to me this anonymous neighbor has a legitimate reason for being unsatisfied with the police service. After reading the remarks it is obvious they have spoken with BTPD on at least two occasions regarding this incident alone. It seems the items stolen had unique identifying marks on them, and the criminal is known. The fact of the two different items being stolen from two different homes at the same time and turning up at the same pawn shop sold by the same person at the same time should have demonstrated enough unique characteristics to pursue the criminal. The Chief responded with the comment of ?“rub marks?” on property used as identifying features are often thrown out in court. This confused me. I thought it was the police?’s job to take the criminal to court and the court to decide what is worthy of being thrown out, especially when unique characteristics are identified on the stolen items. The comment about criminals possibly filing a wrongful arrest lawsuit against the police, really sounds like an excuse to not follow through. Although, sure it happens, I don?’t see how it could happen in this case. It appears the criminal would be up against 2 separate citizens who could testify stating the criminal had position of their stolen property. I have no law degree but it sure sounds lawful to me. This way the criminal continues to do the deed with no concerns that anyone has caught on to them.

These are real concerns. This is work you cannot due yourself, it has to be the police! If they don?’t do it who will? Sometimes you have to shout to be heard. In this case the shouting is in this public forum where it cannot be ignored.

In other words, please instigate somewhere else.
Thanks,
