Can anyone post a link to the dog ordinance for Blendon? Specifically, I am curious as to the limitations and guidelines of allowable dog noise (Barking). I received an amusing ''anonymous'' letter today that aroused my curiousity.

currently Blendon Township has no website. the last township meeting thre was some discussion as to possibly getting one. you can either attend a trustee meeting and ask for a copy, or go to the township office and obtain a copy. |

Dog noise
We had the unfortunate experience of having the police called on us because our dog was barking. At the time, we didn't know our dog could bark. Her breed usually never learns to bark, however, it appears that the 5 dogs that surround our yard taught her how. I think the officer mentioned that anything after 10:00pm is considered a nuisance, but I'm not positive. |

same problem here
I am dreading the day when we get our own amusing, anonymous letter. Our dog barks non-stop, despite all our attempts to stop him. Since we can't just never put him outside (if he'd just learn how to use our toilet I would do a happy dance, but no such luck! ;) ) we simply have to put him out, let him do his business, barking the whole time, and bring him back in before he gets too obnoxious. We try to keep him inside when it's too early or too late, though, so as not to bug people too much. Still I am worried we're making people hate us. What's an owner to do? By Small Dog Owner |
