Larry B's planned patio is for the side of his establishment and will close the drive space between it and the deli. Cushions new proposed front area will be on the south side also; by the cosmetology school. There is currently an overhang on the south side. No parking will be affected. (That was the original objection by the owner of the building.)
Carsonie's is close to Westerville Rd., not the neighborhood.
No, bands were not going to be permitted.
There would be a significant increase in outdoor patrons. Recall that Larry B's plans will accommodate 60 people. Cushions' current smoking shelter in the rear accommodates approximately 25, if I recall correctly. I do not know how many patrons the new plans will accommodate.
There are other quality of life issues the people on Dakar have raised in addition to the noise.
Again, having 60 people in your back yard every night until 2 a.m. would not be peaceful.
