Saturday night we went to the reopened Hollywood Studios Theater at the suggestion of a neighbor made during the last association meeting.  Much to our surprise, the place was hopping!  We paid just $12 for two tickets and $10 for a large popcorn and 2 large drinks for a first run movie.  At Easton this would have cost us $34 total.  Granted the interior of Hollywood Studios is dated but it is a work in progress and there is practically no evidence (and the nose knows!) of the past water damage that has plagued that building for years.   Not only is there a new owner, there is an entirely new management staff.

Sunday Eric and I went back to take a copy of the Herald in and speak to the manager to make sure they were aware of all we have going on through the association and to express our great pleasure to see the place opened up again and seemingly thriving.   I have heard that they are advertising in local papers and giving ticket specials....hopefully they will do the same in the Herald and offer special deals to residents of the Ridge.

I would encourage any and all of my neighbors to patronize the movie theater....actually any and all of the Blendon Township merchants for that matter....it's so great to see such a full house in Glengary Plaza.
