So hearing on the news all the people that have submitted ideas to the govenor about uses for the bailout money made me wonder if anyone has considered it for our water company situation.

I recall during the last public meeting at the church someone mentioned the fact that it would cost a load of money to hook our water system up to westerville or columbus water systems so we could actually have some choice with our water provider. I obviously don't know what this would involve or who would submit the idea but thought I'd throw it out there.

Thinking about it though I doubt Ohio American Water would want to change the situation since it would mean they lose money and customers. MEH.

Think about it!  Every time I turn on our water I think about OAW getting richer.  Jim Welch (and all of us) would welcome your help and input on this.  Please contact him  president@huberridge.org.

I cannot help thinking, however, that water/sewer rates from other companies will soon "catch up" with OAW and that everyone will be paying higher rates.
