Thanks also to HRAA Executive Committee members, Chief Belford, Moderator Carolyn Cordray, and all who helped make the HRAA sponsored Trustee Q&A a success. Approximately 45 residents, mostly from Huber Ridge, attended this event to learn more about candidates Flaherty, Heichel, Stallings, and Welch. Residents asked poignant questions and heard thoughtful answers.
Chief John Belford (welcome home, Chief) asked residents to support our police by voting for the renewal which will be on the ballot. It will NOT increase our taxes and it will allow us to continue to have the same level of police support, which we appreciate.
This event would not have been a success without our candidates' attendance. Thank you Stew Flaherty, Jan Heichel, Alex Stallings, and James Welch.
Because of the generosity of Faith Covenant and all their hospitality, we were able to enjoy comfortable and welcoming surroundings. These people went out of their way on behalf of the community.
