Today a significant piece of Blendon Township history will be archived in Blendon Central Cemetery with the interment of Mr. Jerry Ward. Mr. Ward's sudden passing is a trajic loss to our township; even more for his lovely wife, Liz, their son, his wife, and Mr. Ward's grandchildren.
I am grieved. I had come to sincerely appreciate who Mr. Ward was to our community these last few months but never had the opportunity to tell him myself. Posthumously, thank you to the Ward family, for serving our township so many years - no doubt sacrificing personal peace, time, and enduring difficulties.
