I understand bicycle paths are in future planning, but didn't know when this might happen. Currently, the only way to connect to the Alum Creek Trail is to take Rt 3. Sunbury bike paths also require to ride on the road from Dempsey to Hempstead. It seems Westerville has done a wonderful job with bike paths, and our neighborhood is surrounded by them, but we haven't taken this opportunity to connect to any of them.

It is in the works. The township trustees approved the community plan put together by Franklin County. Connecting bike paths are part of the plan! :) You can view the details of the plan by going to the Franklin County website tinyurl.com/blendon.

Your question of when it will happen might be best directed to the trustees. Maybe you could attend their next meeting and ask? This website has a link to the Blendon Township website. Refer to the community calendar for dates. Hope this helps, Pam |
