Water quality causing medical issues?

Posted in: Huber Ridge Area

I have a question about the water quality. Long, but important!

We have lived in Huber Ridge for two and a half years, so we are over the sticker shock of the bills. When we first learned of the water issue here, I helped the cause by walking the neighborhood with the petition. I felt that was the best I could do at the time. As I walked the neighborhood, I met many great people, and so many of them were willing to tell me why they were upset about the hike. I listened to them all from people cussing to people willing to sign and even have everyone in the home to sign.

I couldn't dismiss the number of people who were dissatisfied with the quality of the water, although to me it seemed our water tasted fine. That was until I had a couple kidney stones. One month after we start drinking the water, I had them. I really thought it was interesting, but I have not had any more, thank goodness. Here we are over 2 yrs later and I had almost forgot something someone told me about the quality of their water. A woman told me that they were sure the water quality caused a child to have seizures. That was sad at the time, but I wasn't sure what to do with that info. That is until my son started to have seizures. I remember the woman telling me of the water. Now, here goes my question:

Does anyone else here have any other medical issues after drinking the water here that would be willing to share? I know it is personal, but I am afraid. Maybe the kidney stones and seizures are just flukes, but I don't know.

By the way, my son and I both drink a lot of water from the faucet.  We are looking into the cause of the seizures now but I figured I would ask.Thank you if anyone knows anything.

Ok, I just copy/pasted from another post because the title really didnt fit my question.

Well, I guess I posted this in a frenzy, but if you are parents- you would understand.

Our son has had frequent seizures over the past week and a half, and we are trying to fing a cause or a reason. He has no history of them before. After a battery of tests, we were told that he has "more than likely a genetic cause". It didn't make sense at first, but we finally have an answer. Genetics were the cause if his seizures. I figured I would post this and sorry if my post scared anyone. We just needed answers, you know. Thanks.
