Huber Ridge Area

Does anyone know when the street cleaning is? I adore when they do; all that rubble is gone. Anyhow, we live close to the doctor's office and I was hoping I could ask the nurses and staff no try not to park on the street on the day it is cleaned. In years past, I have had to clean the street/ clogged gutters myself because people park on the street. I was hoping that we could get notice for the next street cleaning. Any advice would be great!

ps- does the doctor just not have enough parking or what? If there is a large van or suv parked in front of my house, I can't see down the road. It has caused issues many times, honestly. It has been dangerous pulling out of my own driveway.

The township just approved this year's street sweeping contract at the February 2nd trustee meeting ad I didn't see a schedule on the Blendon Towship website.  The Service department would be the one to work with the street sweeping company named Sweep-A-Lot.  I would imagine that there just hasn't been time to get the street sweeping dates worked out yet, but you can always call or email the Blendon Township Service department and ask.  The phone number is 882-2673 or you can email the Service Director, John Giamarco at jgiamarco@blendontwp.org .  Let us know if you are able to get any information!

The first of four street sweepings is scheduled for March.  The weather will determine when exactly. It is difficult to nail a date because the weather makes the final decision. As I become aware I try to post it here on the website so that we all have the opportunity to move our cars off the street, unfortunately the notice is usually very short. This enables a better job with nicer looking results.
