Hi, I bought my house on Saigon about 2 years ago and have had no luck finding any info on the interior doors on my house. A few of my neighbors have said they have the same doors but don’t know where to get parts. The doors are mounted on the inside wall of the rooms and use a c-hook latch to catch the door. I was just wondering if anyone on here knows where to get parts or an alternative to having the walls recut to fit a regular door?

Ryan, I am not too familiar with the style of latch you are talking about as mine are different, but I have had some good luck with some other hardware issues in my home at Roush Hardware. If they did not have it they knew what I was talking about and could order it for me. I hope this may help and good luck Jim Welch |

We had the same type of latch on the doors of the house we bought. No one around here had ever seen them before and we could not find parts or anthing else. They were mainly used in the two story Huber houses. We replaced all of our interior doors and in the process found out that the walls were not standard thickness and had to make adjustments to the trim when installing new door frames. The walls were 3 1/2 inches thick instead of 4 inches. Just one of the many surprises you find out about after you have purchased a Huber Home. Good Luck.

I tried Roush in the past for these without any luck. I ended up ordering all new doors (custom sized for the 2x3 studded walls where needed). |
