I just wanted to take the time out to thank whomever cleaned up the graffiti someone sprayed all over our entrance sign (near 161 on Buenos Aires)) and on the building in our park. I was so disappointed driving home one day when I saw the damage that had been done. I came home and couldn't stop thinking about it. It just made me furious. I kept thinking....what is the purpose? No one understands the graffiti except the "artist".

I was going to try to clean it up myself but the next day I came home and it was already taken care of.

Once again....thank you to whomever took care of it. It is very nice knowing that we have people in our community who care and pitch in when needed.

Oops! How embarassing to have a typo in the title of your post?

Should be Graffiti, not grafitti :)

There was also a big tag on the barrier wall that goes along the service road toward the apartments just off of 161 at the end of AcapulcoThis is the first time this has happened to that wall or our sign since they were put up. I wish I could say it had never happened to the concession stand at the park.

It was the township's service department at the request of Trustee, Jim Welch, who came and did a quick paint job so as to make it look better for now. It is aggravating that someone could be that ignorant, rude, disrespectful and destructive in our own neighborhood where so many residents take pride in their homes and neighborhood and are trying so hard to make their own properties look better. This act is a slap in the face for those who do care about the neighborhood. Our Blendon Township Police are connected in the community and these vandals typically driven by their own vanity can't help but brag about their misdeeds and it will eventually get back to someone who feels as I (and you) do....or to our police. I pray the responsible party gets caught and is required to atone for this criminal activity.

On the other hand....The Annual Ridgewood Park Spring Clean-Up is scheduled for Saturday, April 28th starting at 9am and going on probably most of the day.  I have already requested that repainting of this sign be added to the list of projects this year.  We've done that sort of repainting before at the spring clean up.  It will be nice to get that sign restored and looking better again.  Anyway, please plan to come this is a fun event and work as long as you can, every bit of help is appreciated and it's a great way to invest in your neighborhood!
