Has any one else noticed a recent decline in water quality in Huber Ridge? Taking a shower is like Chinese water torture and this morning I boiled water for tea and it had an oily residue on top that stuck to the cup and the taste was awful.

Residents in Blacklick complain about this all the time, however, they do not have reverse osmosis.

It appears that Aqua Water may be reading  the OAW playbook. Charge more (my r/o charge went from 3.00 to 10.00 on my latest bill),  reduce maintenance to cut costs, and blame it on old pipes.  It worked for OAW except now it appears that  we are paying more for the same lack of quality.

No I have not called the company. I wrote letters of protest to the PUCO/OAW and I testified against the increase and the poor quality. Nothing has changed.

Yes we have! We suspect they have turned off the reverse osmosis. I have a white pickup that I washed in our driveway this past weekend and noticed really bad water spots on the glass, just like the days before we had the r/o system, and the spots on the hood were orange/brown tinted. Coffee tasting funny, dishes getting cloudy, white clothes not nearly as white as before and that smell is returning to the water. We have lived here since 1991 and have testified and complained on numerous occassions yet the companies still get their rate increases. Please complain to the water company and document date/time of call as we just did this morning. Unfortunately this will always be the case here in our neighborhood. They're sending someone over to our house today to "test" the water.
