hi i was just wondering if there is a law about parked cars? I am not one for complaining about my neighbors as i do not want to start unneccesary fights and such but there has been a ford taurus parked opposite our driveway for months and months and the owner has a new car so she does not drive it. It is not too big of a deal except when im reversing out of my driveway. I just wondered if parked cars have to be moved every once and awhile?

Based on what I know from experience, a car parked on the street must be moved every 24 or 48 hours (I cannot recall exactly which). If you just give the Blendon twp non-emergency police number a call, I believe they can handle it from there. From what I understand this is a "ticketable" offense. Hopefully that helps answer your question! |

Thanks for that information. I just hate to cause conflict especially if they found out I had complained. It's just an annoyance more than anything
