The members of the Huber Ridge Area Association are looking forward to another a year of activities and community participation. A number of the projects the association sponsors have seen increased participation such as trhe the silver dinner, garden tour, ridge-a-palooza, and the halloween party. Some of these projects have leaders who will continue in 2013.
The association is looking for a leader who can guide and help organize. If you are retired and looking to get involved in your community, have been a scout leader, project leader at work, or worked with other organizations WE NEED YOU.
Meetings are held once a month on the first Thursday and executive meetings are held once a month on the third Thursday. Most of the planning is done at the executive committee meeting.
This is a great opportunity to get involved. As a township we voted for the JEDZ and limited home rule because we want to see our neighborhoods move forward. The association is a great way to be part of that effort. A community is successful when its residents are involved. Its your neighborhood and your association.
