I beleive the HRAA can find a way to open up the gazebo to see more of it for events, ie.  concerts, weddings, cook-offs, etc. Hinged walls can be set in place at a minimum cost to the HRAA or a donation from our members.  Any suggestions or free help? I'm in!

I looked a little closer and it would be too costly to open it up any further.

Although the HRAA (Huber Ridge Area Association) uses Ridgewood Park frequently and has invested quite a bit of blood, sweat and tears into it over the years, it is actually the property of Blendon Township not the home owners association......as is the shelter house and the gazebo.

The only actual property owned by the HRAA is the green storage bin (and contents) at the back of the park, the signs at 161/Buenos Aires and Westerville Rd/Paris Blvd and the sign kiosks located within the neighborhood.

The gazebo came about as a result of a grant written by Blendon Township Administrator, Bryan Rhodes which netted most of the money for its construction.  Interestingly enough, there have been many such events that have already been held and scheduled to be held in the gazebo....all of which must be scheduled through Blendon Township.  It is the same process that has been in place for many years to reserve the shelter house.  I believe there is an application to reserve either on the Blendon Township website.  The HRAA used the gazebo for our costume contest at last year's Halloween Party and it worked out really well.
