Those touring the gardens are also encouraged to visit the newly landscaped Ridgewood Park in the 5400 block of Buenos Aires Boulevard as well as the Blendon Township Community Garden, located behind 6350 Hempstead Road (Blendon Township Complex).
The community garden has grown significantly as more gardeners have taken advantage of it. Beautiful benches have been installed for gardeners to enjoy. Benches were hand-made by Tom Heichel, Huber Ridge resident and former Blendon Township Chief of Police.
The changes at Ridgewood Park include newly planted trees, revamped landscaping, repaving, and the addition of a beautiful freestanding gazebo.
