This is the seventh year for the Holiday Lights and Decorations contest sponsored by the Huber Ridge Area Assocaition. Prizes were awarded on Dec 18 for the 2013 winners.
Third place was awarded to the Arnold family at 3569 Madrid Dr. Lights, lights, and more lights strategically placed. Very nice display that shows off the house and lights up the area.
Second place was awarded to the Routte family at 5637 Copenhagen Dr. Traditional red ribbon with lots of greenery and white lights show off this house to its welcoming best.
First place was awarded to the Kemmer family at 3366 Arnett Ct. Charming and quaint the decorations are reminiscent of Christmas in 1900 with an emphasis on greenery, antiques, and artifacts of the time. Looks like a Norman Rockwell Christmas scene.
We encourage residents to drive by and see the many displays in the neighborhood. Madrid Dr. is well lit again this year and many residents have worked very hard to show their holiday spirit.
