BREAKING NEWS! At 3:06 p.m., Allison, Senator Bacon's legal aid, just called to say that the Senate is presently voting on HB 483. Senator Bacon (yes, Senator Bacon!!) added HB 452 as an amendment to HB 483, so if 483 passes today, then 452 passes. Allison (not sure I am spelling her name correctly) said that Senator Bacon will be leading the discussion on the floor for HB 452. This Senator may have just earned my vote back - they are in session now. SO stoked.

    We are trying to get this taken care of in the conference committee. We did get the bill in the MBR but the funding was pulled.

  • Pam Clegg Trustee Flaherty suggested that as many as possible send Senator Bacon an email thanking him for attaching HB 452 as an amendment. Then we should ask him to push to get the funding back in that was pulled from the Bill. I will send him an email this morning. His email is sd03@senate.state.oh.us.
