Wow, ''huge water bill payer'' has more than adequately expressed the frustration and questions of many. I agree and share the same thoughts. And there is no reason for any division in the neighborhood over this, even if you do not agree with one or the other view.

At this point, one has written his view that the community should shoulder the responsibility of opposing this. I agree, but not in totality. Whom have we elected to take up our causes? Trustees. They should LEAD the way. But we should do our part, too.

So, I ask again, who will walk their street with petitions and get signatures? So far MEXICO and PARIS E. have been walked. We have a long way to go and it takes time. Who is willing? I have the petitions and will bring them to you, if you are willing. Email me.

Hi Mary, Minerva is indeed Blendon Township. They do have their own governing body, i.e., a mayor, and do receive Blendon services - because they pay Blendon taxes.

They will be voting for trustees in this election. From what I have heard, they have a large, responsive voting body. I hope we in Huber Ridge exceed their turnout this time. And I hope that others will (one day) say about Blendon Township that our elected officials care.

I have been watching this thread for a while now. I would have offered to walk petitions sooner, but I thought that my street was covered. Someone walked Mexico, and I guess I assumed that we (being a court off of Mexico) would be covered too. Obviously that is a lot of work for one person, and it didn't occur to me that she wouldn't be able to walk the side streets as well! LOL!

That said, I would be willing to walk a petition around both Natalie ct. North and South, as well as some of the neighboring streets. Please email me about how to go about this!
