Huber Ridge Area

There is an opossum living under my shed. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make it go away or know who I could call to help?

Scare 'em

Maybe you could find that big dog that wanders the neighborhood, or the one who barks all the time to scare him away! Sorry, sarcasm, couldn't resist. Good luck!

Opossum

Opossum are very unhealthy to have around. If dog or cat food dishes are left out and opossum eat from the dishes, then your animals are at risk for illness or even death.

So, I would recommend calling Franklin County Animal control for help. They may refer you to Varment Guard or some other place that will charge you for the removal. Maybe the county will remove them for free - I do not know. I think we have the county's phone number on our Huber Ridge Important Phone Number list under the community section.

there is a local pest removal company that lives here in the ridge, give him a call and he may offer a break. being a neighbor. the name of the company is DUCK DUCK GOOSE. can be found in the phone book.
