Huber Ridge Area

I appreciate the info provided and will see what can be done. Bryan Rhoads has worked very hard to help us clean up the community and the township, but it takes the community and the township also. Blendon Townships Housing Maintaince Code can only do so much; Franklin County Codes can only do so much. Please continue to report any violations to Bryan Rhoads or to me, as they can and will make a difference.

Remember BLIGHT spreads fast, and beautification can be contagious also. DONT give up and settle because your neighbor’s property looks bad, MAKE it look worse, beautify yours. We have made a difference here in this community in the last 6 years and will continue to for a long time. The Franklin County Auditors website has upgraded The Huber Ridge Area in the past 2 years to a community up and coming - improving. It will take the community to make a difference.

This is YOUR community YOU can and Do make a DIFFERENCE.  

I can respect that beautification can be contagious but I know it is not going to help in my situation b/c the  houses i am concerned with are not owned or occupied. Just this morning our friends came over to pick up their kids from a sleepover. One of them said..."what's up the house next door?". He was referring to all of the broken glass all over the ground and roof. It's just embarrassing and I am almost miserable living here. 

My husband and I have spent thousands of dollars on upgrades on our home. We have new windows and siding. We clean up our yard faithfully. We cut our grass, plant flowers. always shovel our sidewalks...etc. All of our efforts may impact neighbors who own their homes but it will not change the fact that we are surrounded by Huber Home Rentals.

You are right in your assessment of your predicament, and I can certainly sympathize with you.  I did email these posts to Bryan Rhoads, so he knows there is a problem, but he may not know exactly where to find this mess.  Huber owns over 100 properties in our neighborhood.

So, if you will email him your address and copy what you have said in your post, then he can specifically address the rental.  I know there is a large number of Huber homes on Panama, Caracas, and part of Paris, but I do not know where you are.

If you are uncomfortable emailing him, then email me your address and I will gladly send it to him.  I want you to have peace.
