What is going on w/ Westerville Rd??

Posted in: Huber Ridge Area

I thought the city was just going to put in sidewalks, but the more I see, it seems they are going to expand the road. Does anyone know what is going on? We live very, very close to the mess and I'm concerned about my view/ property. We did NOT receive any sort of notice telling us that things were changing. Did anyone receive any sort of notice? When I saw the big machines, I have to wonder...

Also, when they will close Paris blvd., what are they doing?? They already removed a huge tree. Will be able to use the side street off of Westerville during this? Sorry, just a frustrated home owner who felt in the dark!

I am getting email alerts from ODOT and have been posting them on this HRAA website as soon as I can get them up.  In fact, I just posted the Paris North road closing on this website which was just sent to me at 5:13 this evening.  I am also posting them on our Facebook page.  Additionally there has been notification on the ODOT website and in the newspapers.  I don't know if they (ODOT) typically send notification or not to residents in the immediate area but all of the information I have found and received online is posted   in the "Pages and Links" section of this website just above the Discussion section where you posted your original post. Hopefully once you read through that you'll have answers to your questions but if not, you can always call ODOT.  This is the name and phone number that came with today's road closure announcement:

A full description of what the entire project entails, timelines for road closures, and the estimated completion date of fall 2012 was in the weeekly paper that was delivered two weeks ago.
