sorry not sure why original plsted blank. Received electric bill today it was a shocker more than doubled and sadly we must now consider the reality of moving. How is everyone else surviving with water and electric so high?

We are surviving by conservation - water and electric.  Limited use of a/c and water.

Higher energy costs are a fact of the 21st century. Look at what AEP is trying to do. Water will be a continuing battle for years to come everywhere. Scientists predict one half of the US will be in a criticial water shortage within 13 years. We all will be impacted - not  just our area but everywhere.

Look at the large houses that are standing empty or being abandoned. The energy costs and taxes are making McMansions cost prohibitive. 

We have taken cheap energy for granted in this country  for too long.
