Well, 3 days no power, implemented the use of a clothes line to dry clothes, stopped using dishwasher and cut back use of AC and electric bill was $2.32 HIGHER than last month. I had to laugh to keep from crying

I hear you.  Yes we had the three day outage, but we used our a/c more than usual because of these INCREDIBLY OPPRESSIVE hot days.  We keep ours at 84 degrees, but that did not help.  We blew our budget this month and AEP took us to the higher tariff IMMEDIATELY with this bill.

Also, I read where the cost of electricity is up.  Not sure that is reflected on this bill, because as I mentioned we are now on a new tariff.  I need to call them.
