I was thinking of the success rate, and as pointed out, the wells were not successful.

Regarding our water rates, did you see the article in ThisWeek that just came out?  Bryan Rhoads was talking about the JEDZ and commented about how the township planned to deal with the high water rates.

I wonder which part of Dempsey attempted the wells?  I suspect the Westerville portion where there is more land, but that is just my guess.  I would be curious about your progress in this, if you are willing to share.

Thanks, Pam

I moved to this neighborhood in December. I had no clue how much the water bill is.This is my small family of threes first home. We are young and both work odd hours and go to school. I had to drop my health insurance to pay the utilities.I have a severe illness and desperately need my insurance. Is there ANYTHING we can do about the high prices Aqua charges?Does anyone have any thoughts? I love this neighborhood and I love my neighbors but this is not going to work.Undecided

Hello, Eliza.

Lots of thoughts and plans have gone into this issue for years.  Yes, plans are in the works.  Please call Trustee Jim Welch, 882-8959 to learn more about the plans.  You could read some of the Herald articles that say what is in the works.  You can access older Heralds on the home page.

We are all with you and totally agree with you.  Many move in here and have no clue about the water - I was one years ago.  Conserving definitely makes a significant difference.

Call Jim, he is the expert on this, okay?
